Head coach/Founder Nathan Poelsma believes there are 2 musts when it comes to player development.

  • Improving skill through 1 on 0 repetition work in different game specific situations

  • And, getting live competitive work in small sided games to work on decision making.

Therefore, Nathans academy system is built off those beliefs. Everything done at the Pro Precision academy has a why and players will never be left wondering when certain things being taught can be used in a real game.

Along with the on court skill work, what really separates Pro Precision academy from the rest is the weekly film and homework members receive to further help their understanding of skills being taught in the sessions. This is something that no other academies offer in Victoria!!

Academy features

  • In person training

    • Purpose built 1v0 skill work to help add or refine parts of their game

    • Decision making drills to help develop that in game confidence and to help translate new skills into real games

  • Weekly film and homework

    • Film will be sent to players weekly showing NBA players using the skills taught at that weeks academy to further help the understanding of the athletes.

    • Film may also include video breakdwons of Nathan performing the moves so players can refresh their memories during the week.

    • Homework will be 20-30 min workouts that can be done from home and will be based on the skills taught at academy along with a few extra drills.

Locations:

Greenhills Primary school

Sundays (Mixed boys and girls):

Sessions run from 3pm until 7pm for ages U12 all the way to U18s

Mill Park secondary (Moorhead Dr)

Wednesdays

7-8pm - U12-14

Term 2 2025 begins on Sunday the 27th of April and will run until Sunday the 29th of June (9 Sundays/9 Wednesdays).
